It takes around 6 to 10 hours of road journey to reach Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. Located at an elevation of 1,460 meters above sea level, it serves as the main starting point for the Langtang Valley Trek, Tamang Heritage Trail, and routes toward Gosaikunda.

Route Option for Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

There are three route option for Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and they are:

 Kathmandu →Nuwakot →Trishuli corridor → Dhunche →Syabrubesi.
