After breakfast, our staff will pick you up from the hotel. You’ll then depart for the company office. After reaching the office, you will sign the related documents and choose the desired package.
Boating on Serene Phewa Lake
Now, you will be transferred to Phewa Lake via vehicle or on a walk with a guide. There, you will hop on a boat and enjoy boat riding in serene Phewa Lake. You will also visit the holy Taal Barahi Temple, situated in the middle of the lake, and receive blessings.
Hike to World Peace Pagoda
After you’ve completed your boat ride, you’ll commence your hike to Peace Pagoda. In Nepali, it is also referred to as Shanti Stupa. The stupa was built in 1992 and isn’t one of the two stupas in Nepal. The World Peace Pagoda is situated at an altitude of 11,00 meters. It is a steep climb to the top, and the trail passes deep into the forest.
The hike spans about an hour, which may take even more time per one’s pace. And after reaching the top, you can enjoy the spectacular views of the majestic Himalayas such as Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak), Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, etc. You could also get a scenic view of Pokhara city and serene Phewa Lake. If you are hungry, you can visit the cafes and restaurants to quench your hunger.
Hike from Peace Pagoda to Pumdikot Hill
Now after you have spent some time on the peace pagoda, enjoying the peaceful and gorgeous environment. It’s time for the second phase of the hike, Pumdikot Hill Hike. It is considered to be the most challenging part of the hike. The trail to Pumdikot Hill goes down from the Peace Stupa.
On the way to the Pumdikot, you will be greeted by the locals. After 1.5 hours, you will reach the top of Pumdikot hill, where Lord Shiva is a huge statue. You get to savor the majestic mountain views, take a walk around the premises, and immerse yourself in the spiritual essence.
Drive Back to Hotel
Our staff will already be there with the vehicle to pick you up for the commute back to the hotel. You will head back to your destination, reminiscing about your trip. If you want, you will be dropped off in a Hotel or near the lakeside if you want to wander around the lively lakeside.
